Ranji Trophy | Seven Chhattisgarh batsmen score ducks in same innings
Seven Chhattisgarh batsmen were dismissed before they could trouble the scorers in their 2nd innings of the Ranji Trophy Group C clash against Goa in Cuttack on Tuesday. Shadab Jakati and Darshan Misal picked up 7 wickets among themselves for Goa, who cruised to an 8-wicket win.
Resuming from their overnight score of 92/2 which had seen two ducks, Chhattisgarh suffered a big blow in the morning session when they lost their captain Mohammad Kaif for 38 runs. Ashutosh Singh and Sahil Gupta then formed a 53-run partnership to take their team to 148/3 in the 56th over, but it all went downhill for them after that.
