Former Indian Premier League boss Lalit Modi took a dig at BCCI president Anurag Thakur and current IPL chief Rajiv Shukla after the Supreme Court ordered the world’s richest cricket body to unconditionally implement all the court-approved recommendations of the Lodha Committee.

Modi, who was banned by the Board of Control for Cricket in India for life for alleged financial irregularities in the 2010 IPL, called Thakur the “original fixer” and Shukla a “dalal – the original crook.”

“Just like #Srinivasan - @ianuragthakur the noose needed around your neck is about to be executed. U are the original#fixer as I have said,” Modi tweeted along with a photo collage that stated, “Your time’s up Anurag. Time for cleanup in Indian cricket.”

“Finally your time has come #dalal Ji - the original #crook and#politician@ShuklaRajiv - #cleanupcricket -#tied#naked & given 100 #lashes.”

In a series of other tweets Modi said, “The #system today is no #different then before. Only way out is to do a #total#cleanup as suggested by the #LodhaCommittee - why the wait?”

Questioning Thakur’s credentials as a first-class cricketer, Modi tweeted, “He @ianuragthakur is a #Serious#cricketer - when where with whom has he ever played. Oh I forgot his father was CM he forced himself.

“to play for HP one match of #ranji. - he has no #credentials. Has never done anything except #loot on the #wealth I created for @bcci.

“in fact I had #resolution passed no money to go to #stateascoiations from @IPL OR @clt20 unless we can verify how it's being spent.”

As a sign off Modi tweeted: As #president of @RCA_cricket#rajasthancricketassociation we accept full recommendations of the #honourable#lodhacommitttee.”
