Mohammad Hafeez names Virat Kohli as the current generation's best batsmen

Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez has named arch-rival and Indian skipper Virat Kohli as the best batsman of the current generation during an interaction with his fans on Twitter. Hafeez, 36, is one of the Pakistan’s most experienced players having played 50 Tests, 190 ODIs, and 78 T20Is so far.

Though India and Pakistan may be eternal rivals on the cricket field, there certainly exists a lot of mutual respect between the players on both sides. Moreover, both sets of players appreciate each other’s talents on the cricket field. 

Earlier this year, Pakistani pacer Mohammad Amir had named Virat Kohli as the best batsman in the world at the moment and now Aamir’s compatriot, Hafeez has done an encore. The all-rounder decided to have Twitter session wherein he invited his fans and followers to ask him questions with hashtag #AskMH.

Incidentally, Hafeez hasn’t played an ODI since the ICC Champions Trophy final against the Kohli led Indian where his knock of 57 from 47 balls helped Pakistan stun the Men in Blue by a huge margin of 180 runs and secure their first ever Champions Trophy title.
