Reports | Paul Pogba demanding a new 600k-a-week deal to stay at Manchester United

Paul Pogba is demanding a new £600k-a-week wages to stay at Old Trafford and not push for a move away from the club in January. The Frenchman was heavily linked with a move away from the club during the summer, but with Real Madrid unable to meet his valuation, Pogba eventually ended up staying.

Paul Pogba has demanded that Manchester United double his salary to £600k-a-week reports the Mirror. The Frenchman is more than ready to try and force a move in January, having been courted by the likes of PSG, Real Madrid and Juventus over the summer. While no move eventually materialized for the midfielder, the French star is still keen on leaving Old Trafford.

He is contracted to United until 2021, but Manchester United are keen on giving Pogba a new deal with a much better wage to convince him to stay at the club. However, the Mirror reports that negotiations may have gone horribly wrong, with the Frenchman now demanding around £600k-a-week in wages, which will double his £15 million-per-year pay packet.

That has not gone down well with the Red Devils reports the Mirror, and it further went on to add that Pogba knows that both Juventus and Real Madrid are still keeping an eye on him.  This could complicate any further contract negotiations between agent Mino Raiola and Manchester United, but Italian news outlet Tuttosport reports that the two sides are still at the table and are willing to negotiate.
