Abhishek Verma, who clinched his second World Cup gold medal last week in Rio, admits that it would require a different level of mental stability to succeed at the Olympics. Verma secured his place at Tokyo 2020 by winning the 10m air pistol gold medal at the Beijing World Cup in April this year.

Contrary to popular belief, star Indian mixed team pistol shooters Manu Bhaker and Saurabh Chaudhary hardly interact with each other, more so during competitions, as the former revealed. Bhaker also stated they are extremely different in terms of personality and just focus on their performances.

India continued their dominant display in the 10m air pistol event with Abishek Verma clinching the yellow metal and prodigal son Saurabh Chaudhary clinching the silver medal in the ongoing World Cup in Rio. Sanjeev Rajput secured his Olympics spot in the men's 50m rifle 3 positions event.
