Jitu Rai removed from TOP scheme due to non-selection in Asian Games

Shooter Jitu Rai became the latest sportsperson to be dropped from the list of sportspersons being supported by the much touted Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS) on Tuesday. Three other shooters, along with Rai, have been dropped from the scheme due to below-par performances in the recent past.

Indian mixed trap team disappoints at ISSF Shotgun World Championships

India had a disappointing outing in mixed team trap event at the ISSF Shotgun World Championship in Moscow with the pairs of Zoravar Singh-Seema Tomar and Kynan Chenai-Sreyasi Singh finishing at the 24th and 33rd spot respectively. India will now look at the men’s and junior’s events for a medal.

ISSF World Cup | Seema Tomar finishes fifth; Manavjit, Kynan miss final

Indian trap shooter Seema Tomar registered her second best finish in a World Cup on Saturday as she finished fifth in the women's trap event at the ISSF Shotgun World Cup in San Marino. In the men’s trap event, Kynan Chenai and Manavjit Singh Sandhu finished 24th and 38th respectively.
