The men's and women's kabaddi finals wrapped up the Khelo India University Games 2021 on Tuesday, capping up ten days of sporting action. Priya Mohan's achievements in athletics and two golds in karate ensured that the host Jain University's hold on the title would be uncomplicated.

On Monday, at the Khelo India University Games 2021 in Bengaluru, youngster Priya Mohan beat Olympian Dutee Chand in the women's 200m sprint. Priya, representing Jain University, won gold in the penultimate day's highlight event with a time of 23.90 seconds, while Dutee Chand took silver.

On Sunday, the first medals of the Khelo India University Games were handed out following a lavish opening ceremony at Bengaluru's Kanteerava Stadium. There were eight medals up for grabs in three disciplines; with five in men's and women's weightlifting, ensuring heavy movement in the points table.
