BCCI asks three IPL teams to send water to drought-hit districts
In a bid to avoid the shifting of IPL matches out of Maharashtra, the BCCI told the three teams, whose home matches are to be played in the state, to ensure transportation of water to the drought-hit districts. The Bombay High Court will take a final call on the shifting of IPL matches today.

In a letter dated April 12 to the three franchises, IPL Chief Operating Officer Ratnakar Shetty wrote that Mumbai Indians had agreed to the
Kings XI Punjab, who will play some of their home matches in Maharashtra, was also told that they will have to adhere to the condition to play the matches in the state. The teams have been asked to reply to the matter by Wednesday.
