Ravichandran Ashwin and Harbhajan Singh have finally put an end to their fight on Twitter with both coming out in praise of each other. While Ashwin called him the inspiration and reason for his bowling career, Harbhajan has said that his comments have been taken out of context by the media.

The incident began after Harbhajan said that the Indian spinners' exploits in the ongoing New Zealand were not that great given the spinning tracks that India have produced. Harbhajan went on to say that he and Anil Kumble would have taken many more wickets if only they had such wickets at their disposal.

Harbhajan was slammed for these comments with ex-Indian spinner Maninder saying, “Harbhajan should enjoy Ashwin's success and be happy about his achievements. Such a comment is in bad taste and “smells of jealousy”.

However, the two appear to have patched up things with Ravichandran Ashwin calling Bhajji his inspiration for taking up spin bowling.

The off-spinner also went on to place the blame squarely on war-mongers who have managed to create headline by pitting players against each other.

Harbhajan Singh responded to the Tamil Nadu spinner's gesture by saying that what he said had been misconstrued.
