Twitter reacts to Dhoni's monstrous six and RCB capitulation to RPS
While RCB bowlers clicked, their batsman flopped as they lost their 3rd consecutive match in the IPL. However, it was Dhoni who grabbed all the attention with his monstrous six that went out of the stadium. Twitterati heaped praise on Dhoni and made fun of his detractors - here are the best tweets:
Imran Tahir and co ended the Supergiant’s three-match losing streak with a 27 run win over the Royal Challengers at the Chinnaswamy stadium today. RCB had done well to restrict RPS to just 161, but the visitor's bowlers produced a masterclass as the home side could only manage 134 in their 20 overs.
Brief scores: Rising Pune Supergiant 161/8 (Rahul Tripathi 31, Ajinkya Rahane 30; Adam Milne 2/27, Sreenath Arvind 2/29) beat Royal Challengers Bangalore 134/9 (AB de Villiers 29, Virat Kohli 28, Shardul Thakur 3/35; Ben Stokes 3/18) by 27 runs.
Unfortunately, only one of the "star" players could play

Kohli 28 runs
What a coincidence! 😂😂😂
The tall order that RPS had to climb
RPS have never defended any score at any ground. They now have to set a record for the lowest score defended v RCB at the Chinnaswamy. #IPL
— Freddie Wilde (@fwildecricket) April 16, 2017
But then, they did the impossible
RCB have not in a single four & have hit just one six in the last 60 balls between the end of the 4th over and the end of the 14th. #IPL
