With Australia struggling to gain any sort of foothold in the morning session of the Day 3 at Dharamsala, Matthew Wade started the old Aussie tradition of sledging against Ravindra Jadeja. The Indian, however, came out on top in the end with an all too familiar sword swinging celebration.

Wade started the sledging in the 103rd over, when Jadeja had moved away from the pitch, at the non-striker's end and it forced umpire Ian Gould to intervene.

"You might want to go ahead and turn around. Wait till to come down here and then say," Wade started off.

"Woah! Woah! Woah! Excuse me. Ravindra, come here. There is no points starting...." Ian Gould jumped in.

"If he starts, I'll give it back," Jadeja replied.

"Hey, can I get a selfie with you at the end of the game. We'll put it on Instagram as soon as the game finishes," Wade continued.

"Mate, are you going to stop that?" Gould questioned the Aussie keeper who went on to say, "Careful with that sword too," referring to Jadeja's celebration.

As soon as Jadeja came to the striker's end, the sledging started again when someone pointed out that Jadeja does not usually play overseas Test. Wade went on to question the Indian as to why he is not picked by the team.

"How come you don't get picked? Why is that? Why don't you get picked?" Wade started again.

"He doesn't deserve to play anywhere but here," said another Aussie in the background.

It continued with some more inaudible sledging between Jadeja and the Aussies as Steve Smith also joined in the conversation that ended with, "like every other time they go overseas."

Jadeja, however, came made sure he replied in the best possible way smashing his second consecutive half-century in the series and brought out the "sword" to celebrate.

Yesterday, Matt Renshaw, too, had a go at Jadeja, telling him that he was a "one-trick pony", who was just good in Indian conditions. " “Very good in all conditions, Gary. Great in all conditions, Gary. Showed you can do it all conditions, Gary. You get wickets all over the world, mate. You’re not just a one-trick pony.”

Jadeja had a slightly quick reply for the Aussies on this occasion as, on the very next ball, he stepped out of his crease and dispatched Lyon for a six over long-on.
