In what has come as a bad news for the cricket fans, the first T20I between India and Windies has come under massive danger as frequent bouts of rainfall are predicted in Florida. The rainfall is expected to arrive at regular intervals with thundershowers expected early in the morning.

After India’s semi-final exit, the T20 series between India and the Windies has become everyone’s centre of attraction, especially because of the nice blend of youth and experience present in the team. However, the first game in Florida may become a dampener as the rainfall is expected to arrive in the city in the morning and may spread across the entire day.

According to weather website accuweather, the forecast for Saturday predicts 80 percent precipitation in the day with the temperature hovering between 26 and 32. The game is being hosted in Florida in order to attract a large number of Asian Americans present in the city and also testing the market viability of such venues in the United States. However, if the unpredictable weather throws an oddball, then it might work against the basic purpose of the match.

The Indian team have been in Florida since the last three days and have started their preparations for the T20I series, while the Windies have already assembled their team to accustom themselves to the USA conditions. In the absence of Jason Holder, Carlos Brathwaite will lead the Windies side, while the likes of Sunil Narine and Kieron Pollard have made a comeback to the team.
