West Indies players are often recognized for their distinctive celebrations, and some even create their signature styles after taking a wicket. A similar moment unfolded in the final match of the Hundred when Akeal Hosein celebrated his two-wicket haul with a unique celebration of his own.

‌A packed Lord’s witnessed the title clash between Oval Invincibles and Southern Brave as James Vince won the toss and elected to field. Oval openers Will Jacks and Dawid Malan started strong, racing to 44/0 in five sets. Jofra Archer then gave the Brave a breakthrough by dismissing Malan, followed by Tymal Mills removing Jacks for 37 off 22. However, Jamie Cox and Sam Curran steadied the ship, building a crucial 46-run partnership, taking Oval to 92/2 in 65 balls. But Oval witnessed a mini batting collapse when Akeal Hosein struck twice in quick succession, celebrating each wicket with a unique gesture.

On the 67th ball, Hosein delivered a length ball around off stump to Curran, who attempted a cross-shot but only managed a top edge that soared high. Archer easily caught the ball as Curran walked off. On the next delivery, Hosein bowled a quick, straight ball on off stump. The Oval skipper tried to whip it across but missed entirely, and the ball crashed into the stumps. Hosein, visibly pumped, celebrated by pointing to the dugout and making a shooting gesture with his hand, a moment that resonated with fans on social media.
