Manchester United is Premier League's most prolific team regarding sponsorship deals, earning an astonishing €75 million from Adidas. However, Liverpool will most likely top that on a new record deal with Nike, as they enter the last year on their deal with American brand New Balance.

As the Reds enter their fifth and last season with current contract holders New Balance, they're already looking for a bigger deal to sponsor their kits for the upcoming seasons. Reportedly, Nike leads the way and could be offering more than €75 million a year, according to the Daily Mail.

Liverpool's performances in recent seasons, along with their global fan base, make the club an interesting and exciting project for potential suitors. As stated in sources, Adidas and Puma have already held negotiations about a possible future deal with 2019 Champions League winners, but the club is inclined to give Nike a chance.

Despite all the talk about these moves from the main sports brands in the world, New Balance still have a clause that in their current contract, that allows them to match any offer by another brand. One thing is certain, Liverpool will have the most lucrative kit deal in the Premier League if only for the next few years, whether or not New Balance matches Nike's offer or not.
