Reports | PSG considering shock move for Liverpool's Adam Lallana
Liverpool star Adam Lallana has been shortlisted by PSG as a potential summer move with Thomas Tuchel looking to bring in reinforcements. The former Southampton man was a consistent figure for the Reds when Jurgen Klopp first arrived but injuries have seen him struggling to get regular game-time.
Paris Saint-Germain could sign Adam Lallana on a Bosman transfer next summer as the Liverpool midfielder has less than eight months left on his current contract reports the Mirror. There have been reports indicating that the Red do plan on handing the 31-year-old a new deal with the Telegraph reporting as such. The report went on to add that Jurgen Klopp sees the Englishman as a key part of his side and a versatile back-up player.
But any negotiations have come to a standstill with Lallana linked with a January move away. But, the PSG interest does change things for Lallana with reports indicating that all his previous suitors were either from China or the MLS. The former Southampton prodigy has had a frustrating time at Liverpool and plagued with injuries which has seen him drop down the pecking order.
Once considered to be Jurgen Klopp’s first pick on the team-sheet, the 31-year-old has struggled to even get on the bench with the club signing a whole host of midfielders since then. The Mirror also reported that the move for Lallana could see Liverpool bring in Ryan Fraser with the Scottish winger also running down his contract at Bournemouth.
