Jurgen Klopp has claimed that both Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount are now worth around 60 million, after their performances for Chelsea. The two youth stars have had a wonderful start under Frank Lampard, and the two have combined to score 10 goals, with Abraham in the running for the Golden boot.

Chelsea may not have had the best start to their season, but things soon picked up for the Blues after their second game. They are now unbeaten in their last four Premier League games, although a 1-0 defeat to Valencia in the Champions League would have hurt morale. Yet despite that and all the initial criticism behind Chelsea appointing Frank Lampard, the Blues legend has won over his critics.

Not only that, he seems to have won over Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp with the former Borussia Dortmund going on to reveal that the Blues remind him of his Dortmund. The German boss took a team of young stars to the Bundesliga title during his time with Dortmund and in an interview, reveals that Chelsea are just like his former side.

“It's a really exciting team, it reminds me a little bit of my team at Dortmund years back when they were really young - maybe even younger than this team at Chelsea. People were always talking about how young they are, but they only played because they were good. They didn't play because they were that young,” said Klopp reports Sky Sports.

The Blues had been hit with a transfer ban, which affected what Frank Lampard could do with his squad, but the Chelsea boss has done relatively well. He’s used youth products well, with Fikayo Tomori, Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham playing starring roles. This combined with their performances for Chelsea has seen Klopp praise both Mount and Abraham, adding that he believes they are worth well over £60 million.

"They brought in Christian Pulisic in the summer, I'm not sure about the money but for around £50-£60m, and all of the players around him now have the same value. Tammy Abraham is now a £60m player, Mason Mount is for sure a £60m player, if not more, Callum Hudson-Odoi was that already. Jorginho is not that young, but he is not that long in the league, and then [N'Golo] Kante, who looks like he could play for the next 20 years.

"They have Mateo Kovacic, Ross Barkley, and then all the experienced guys around them, Pedro, Willian, Olivier Giroud and on the bench Michy Batshuayi. If there was one club in the world who a transfer ban didn't hit that bad, it was probably Chelsea,” concluded the Liverpool boss.
