Harry Kane has confirmed that his recovery is going according to plan with him on the mend after he was ruled out for three months thanks to a hamstring injury. Kane was ruled out till April, but fortunately will be back in action with all sporting action suspended due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Jose Mourinho and his team were in utter dismay of their current form. The team was on a six match winless streak, courtesy the increase in their injured personnel count. Frontline attackers, Harry Kane and Son Heung Min were both ruled out after encountering successive injuries, and that saw Tottenham’s offense lack any sense of real urgency and a punch.

That saw the Spurs boss and his management staff criticised for not signing a back up striker in the January window, which clearly took a toll on the North Londoners. With support striker Son also ruled out, the team really struggled with their attitude and aggression on pitch called into question. Spurs are currently sitting at eighth in the Premier League and crashed out of the Champions League at the hands of RB Leipzig.

While the world braces itself for the battle against coronavirus, Spurs will take a sigh of relief with their main man healing just fine. The England number 9 would have carried an impressive form in 2020, having already scored 17 goals until he got injured. Recently speaking to the Spurs website about his comeback, Kane went on to admit that he is on his way back to full fitness and doing everything he can to get back to his best.

“I'm not too far away. I'd normally hope to be back with the team in two or three weeks' time. I'm at a good stage, pretty much doing everything. Now it's about building up my fitness. So from my personal point of view, I'm in a good place," Kane told Sky Sports.
