During the retirement of Shahid Afridi, Indian players showed their love and support as they sent aĀ number 18 Virat Kohli jersey for the 37-year old that had a message in Kohli's handwriting saying,"To Shahid Bhai, best wishes, always a pleasure playing against you."

The jersey had signatures of Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Ashish Nehra, Jasprit Bumrah, Suresh Raina, Pawan Negi, Mohammad Shami, Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ajinkya Rahane, Shikhar Dhawan, R Ashwin, Hardik Pandya, and former coach Ravi Shastri.

The signed jersey now auctioned at UK and the money will be donated to Boom-Boom Afridiā€™s charity going by the name of Shahid Afridi Foundation. Kohli also presented an autographed bat to Afridi, which also was auctioned for the foundation. The jersey and bat raised 4300 Euros which will go to the organisation to fulfilĀ a noble cause. Afridi himself was present during the event.

After the auction, Afridi shared his token of gratitude for the Indian skipper by posting a "Thank you" message on Twitter to which Kohli also responded back with similar gratitude.
