Looking to experiment with the team, Indian skipper Virat Kohli suggested a debut for youngster Rishabh Pant may be on the cards in the next ODI against the West Indies. The Delhi batsman also heaped praises on the team for their 105-run win against the Windies in the second ODI.

ā€œWeā€™ll sit down and decide as a team about changes that can be made. Weā€™ll go to Antigua and regroup, and thatā€™s a possibility as well, give a few guys an opportunity,ā€ said Kohli in the post-match interview.

India eased past their West Indian counterparts clinching a 105-run victory in the second ODI of theĀ five-match series to lead 1-0 and making it India's biggest win in the Carribean. Ajinkya Rahane starred in the win scoring his maiden century against the West Indies, while Kohli played an explosive 87-run inningsĀ to power India to a formidable total of 310 in 43 overs. The Indian skipper singled out Ajinkya Rahane, who missed didn'tĀ feature in the playing XI of the team during the Champions Trophy tournament owing to Rohit Sharma's presence, for his terrific tonĀ .

"Jinks couldnā€™t get a game in the Champions Trophy unfortunately, but shows his mental strength, steps in and scores runs,ā€ said Kohli.

ā€œIt was a complete performance again. The partnership between Ajinkya and Shikhar was outstanding, and myself at the back end, with Yuvi, MS and Kedar chipping in,ā€ said Kohli.

In response, the home side stumbled at the start of their innings losing two wickets for just 4 runs courtesy some splendid swing bowling from Bhuvneshwar KumarĀ Kuldeep Yadav then marked his ODI debut with a three-wicketĀ haul after an initial expensive period. The home side then lacked the intent and wereĀ content playing out the 43-overs which eventually resulted in their defeat.Ā

ā€œEarly wickets for Bhuvi, and really happy for Kuldeep as well, bowling for the first time and taking three wickets. The bench strength has always been right up there for us,ā€ said the Indian skipper. Ā Ā
