India have already clinched the six-match series with a game to spare and their only motivation to extend the lead would be adding insult to South Africa's 'injury'. The Proteas, on the other hand, are already prepping for the Australia series and are hardly expected to go full-throttle this game.

With the series already sealed, both the sides would want to focus on the shortcomings that have downed them in the past five ODIs. While for South Africa it would be to negotiate with the wrist spinners well, which has been their Achilles heel since the very beginning, India’s middle order would definitely want to test their mettle without overtly relying on the top order trio of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan.
South Africa, on the other hand, have a big worry with their pace bowlers who desperately need rest for the Australia series. The likes of Kagiso Rabada and Morne Morkel have been pulling themselves since last month, which has taken a toll on their body for sure. Morkel was even supposed to sit last game but had to play after Chris Morris’ last-minute injury.

“I think half of the wickets should go to Dhoni. He is just amazing behind the stumps. Before every ball was bowled, he knows what a batsman going to do. These guys should bow down and touch his feet. These guys not experienced and Dhoni was doing the homework for them. Dhoni should be credited for this,”- Atul Wassan.
