Paul Harris involves Virat Kohli’s name into Kagiso Rabada-Steve Smith case
Talking about Kagiso Rabada's two-match suspenion following his altercation with Steve Smith, former South African player Paul Harris has questioned the ICC on why they didn't question Virat Kohli's antics in the SA series. Rabada handed a two-match ban for his aggressive behavior towards Smith.
The Kagiso Rabada and Steve Smith controversy divided the cricketing world as some people came up in support of the Australian skipper and for some saw Rabada is the victim. Harris not only joined the debate but took it one step further as he involved Indian skipper Kohli to the argument. Harris, who played 37 Tests for South Africa and made his Test debut against India, took to Twitter where he said that after Rabada’s suspension for the next two games, it appeared as though the ICC had a problem with the South African pacer or the South African team.
In his tweet, he included the name of Kohli and recalled his behavior during the South Africa tour where the Indian skipper was repeatedly complaining to the umpires about the damp ball and was overly aggressive during his celebrations. Later, he was fined 25 percent of his match fees and received one demerit point.
