7 Things you missed | From Beer drinking Kangaroos to Aleem Dar's eagle eye

You might've watched the match between Afghanistan and Australia closely, but not closely as us. We are sure you missed a lot of things during the match because you were texting your best friend or had to run an errand. Don't worry, here are the 7 things you missed during the match!

Beer drinking Kangaroos!

Today, we caught a couple of Australian fans feeding toy Kangaroos some of their beer! There will be more such events happening in this World Cup! Exciting times ahead!Ā

Butterfinger Stoinis!

Fielding needs to be on point in crunch games and today Stoinis had one of the worst fumbles on the field after failing to judge the bounce of the ball. Nathan Coulter Nile wasnā€™t happy as it raced away for a boundary!Ā

Free Tickets with a killer view!Ā

If you ever buy an apartment in Bristol, buy one of these apartments and save a lot of money as you get to watch the matches for free with a great view!Ā

The awkward run-out!

Due to a lack of Communication between the two Afghanistan batsman, they had to lose the precious wicket of Mohammad Nabi who couldā€™ve taken them to a better total. Shouldnā€™t take away the credit for the fielding effort by Steve Smith though!Ā

Aleem Darā€™s eagle eye!

Najibullah failed to get the bat past the crease on the non-striker so even though he ran to get 2 runs, he got only 1. This was all due to the sharp eyes of Aleem Darā€™s sharp eyes!Ā

The Bristol Reception for David Warner!Ā

The English crowd has always been hostile towards Aussies due to the fierce rivalry between both the teams. On top of that, David Warner was involved in the sandpaper gate which added more fuel to the fire. As a result of this when the announcer mentioned his name, the crowd started booing. But it was David Warner who had the last laugh as he guided his team to a comfortable win over Afghanistan!Ā

And then this happened!Ā

Even though Afghanistan lost the match to the mighty Aussies, they did not crumble under pressure when they started losing wickets. They steadied the ship and got themselves to a decent total of 208, which none of Pakistan or Sri Lanka could get to. Itā€™s ok Afghanistan, even though you lost the match, you can be proudĀ of your performance today!
