After winning the ISL title for the second time last year, the team from Chennai had a terrible season in the league this year. However, coming into the knock-out tournament in Odisha’s capital city, the John Gregory-coached side has shown different colours with some impressive performances by winning the knock-out matches and making it to the finals to be played on Saturday. After getting the better of ATK in the semi-final, the team will look forward to ensure another win against the Gaurs to lift the title.  

On the other hand, coming into the tournament after a heartbreak against Bengaluru, Goa will fully be committed towards lifting the title. The side under the guidance of Sergio Lobera will want redemption from their loss in the ISL final. They have previously played the Chennaiyin FC in the final of ISL’s 2015 edition and would want the result to be completely different from that game this evening in the Temple City of India.
