Real Madrid are set to make one final bid for Tottenham star Christian Eriksen in a last ditch effort to land the talented midfielder. The 27-year-old has admitted that he is ready for another challenge, rejecting a move to Manchester United as he wants to try his hand in another league.

Real Madrid are readying up a ÂŁ60 million take it or leave it bid for Tottenham star Christian Eriksen according to a report in the Daily Mail. It further adds that the Los Blancos are waiting for the final few days of the European window in order to get Eriksen to force a move away this summer. The Los Blancos have retained an interest in the Danish playmaker and are willing to wait, in order to get a cut-price move.

The 27-year-old has already admitted that he is looking for a new challenge. This combined with the Danish international’s lack of interest in signing a new deal with Tottenham, despite the fact that Spurs have offered the 27-year-old a rather lucrative deal.

The Mirror has reported that Tottenham’s new offer includes wages in excess of £200,000 but Eriksen reportedly has his heart set on a move to another league. It’s what gives Real Madrid hope that their £60 million offer will be accepted by Spur’s chairman Daniel Levy, as the Danish midfielder has just one year left on his current deal with Tottenham.

It would also mean that Real Madrid's offer would be the last chance that Tottenham will have to make a profit before the Dane’s contract expires.
