Chaos ensued on Day 2 of the clash between India 'A' and West Indies 'A' as an incredible 19 wickets fell to leave the match hanging in the balance. The day was dominated by pacers Sandeep Warrier and Chemar Holder who accounted for 9 of 18 wickets that fell on Day 2 of the second Test.

A rollercoaster Day 2 between India 'A' and West Indies 'A' was capped off by a late Sandeep Warrier burst near the end of the day's play, as the Kerala pacer ended the day with figures of 3-1-3-3 to leave the hosts reeling at 12-4 in the second innings.

Starting the day on 243-5, West Indies 'A' managed to add 75 more runs to their overnight tally as they were bowled out for 318, with Mohammad Siraj and Mayank Markande starring with the ball for India 'A', claiming three wickets each. Resuming to bat, the Indians were blown away by a quadruple strike by Windies pacer Chemar Holder early on in the innings, as they found themselves reeling at 20-5, with Mayank Agarwal Hanuma Vihari, Anolmpreet Singh, and Abhimanyu Easwaran being dismissed for a duck.

However, fifties from Priyank Panchal (58) and Shivam Dube (79) helped India 'A' post a respectable total of 190 in the first innings, with Holder claiming his second five-wicket haul.

Resuming to bat in the second innings with a 128-run lead in the kitty, the Windies openers were blown away by a rampant Warrier, who knocked over three of Windies' top four batsmen for a duck to leave them struggling at 12-4 at the end of Day 2. The match hangs in the balance with the Windies carrying a 140-run lead, but both sides will be looking to hold the game by the scruff of the neck on Day 3.
