EPL 2016-17 fixtures out | Arsenal to face Liverpool on opening day

The fixtures of the 2016-17 English Premier League season is out, and it will kick off with a mouthwatering opening day clash between Arsenal and Liverpool on August 13. Jose Mourinho's first match as a Man United manager will be at Bournemouth, while champions Leicester City will kick off at Hull.

It seems like it was only yesterday when Claudio Ranieri's men lifted the Premier League crown to complete one of the most unpredictable seasons in the history of the English Premier League, and we already have the fixtures of the next season on our hands.

The season will kick off on August 13 and an intriguing set of matches awaits us on the opening day. Arsenal will host Liverpool at the Emirates, in what has historically been one of the most exciting clashes in the league. Few kilometers away, Antonio Conte will start off his Chelsea managerial stint with a London derby when Slaven Bilic's West Ham United travel to the Stamford Bridge.

Jose Mourinho's Manchester United will travel to Dean Court to face AFC Bournemouth on the opening day, while Pep Guardiola will see his new club host Sunderland, who barely escaped relegation last season.

The much awaited clash between Guardiola and Mourinho will take place on September 10 (Gameweek 4), while Mourinho will make an emotional return to the Stamford Bridge on October 4, when United travel to face his former club Chelsea.
