Indian Test captain Virat Kohli is likely to be the face of a massive anti-ragging campaign planned by the human resource development (HRD) ministry in universities across the country. According to media reports, the cricketer will share the anti-ragging message through television commercials.

Kohli is likely to feature in the television campaigns and the posters, which will be distributed among the institutions. According to the report, approximately 1.5 lakh such posters are being printed for the campaign.
“The need to create awareness and make an anti-ragging environment within educational institutions will always remain. Students should be encouraged to report cases of ragging. Our campaign will create awareness among students, parents and administrators,” said Inder Mohan
The ministry has reportedly asked the University Grants Commission to come up with posters, jingles, commercials, and short films, which will be shown in universities. A mobile app and a helpline number are also being planned for the campaign.
