IPL 2019 | Jasprit Bumrah will not get it right every time, says AB de Villiers
AB de Villiers has stated that Jasprit Bumrah will not always end up with good figures despite being a 'fantastic bowler'. De Villiers also said that the batsmen need to access the conditions better for the RCB squad is fantastically balanced and they can't afford to repeat last match's mistake.
India pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah is the number one ranked ODI bowler in the world and has earned the title of a death-over specialist over the years. However, Royal Challenger Bangalore’s star batsman AB de Villiers believes that Bumrah, and not the batsmen, will be under pressure when he bowls at the Chinnaswamy stadium in the encounter between two teams today.

"No one is perfect and yes Bumrah is a very good bowler but he is also not supposed to get it right all the time. Here the ground is not very huge and the wicket is more often than not good for the batters. For that matter, all the bowlers are under pressure here," said AB de Villiers, reported PTI.
The Bengaluru based franchise had a dismal start to their IPL campaign, as they were bundled out for 70, with only one batsman reaching double figures, in their first encounter against the Chennai Super Kings at Chepauk on March 23.
"It is up to us batters to play a good game in the next match, assess the conditions well. Whichever wicket we are getting we need to play better cricket than the last game," the former South Africa captain said.
