Surrey has roped in left-arm fast bowler Reece Topley, who bagged 17 wickets in 11 matches last season playing for Sussex, on a two-year white-ball deal. Topley, who played six T20Is and ten ODIs for England, is excited to perform at the Oval and would like to make it back into England colours.

Surrey has signed Sussex left-arm speedster Reece Topley on a two-year white-ball deal. Topley made a successful comeback, from a fifth straight stress fracture of the back, for Sussex last season to bag 17 scalps in 11 matches. He also played his first championship match in over a couple of years as he took to the field against Derbyshire.

Topley, who underwent surgery last year, declined a new contract from Sussex despite the club helping him with his rehab from injury. During The Hundred's draft last week, he was snapped up by the Oval Invincibles.

"I am honoured to sign a contract at Surrey, and excited to play in front of the fans at the Kia Oval. The set-up here is renowned for being excellent and I can't wait to work with the players and coaches and aim to win some silverware," Cricbuzz quoted Topley as saying so after the signing.

Topley has played six T20Is and ten ODIs for the national side, making his international debut back in 2015.
