Ending almost two weeks of speculation, Narsingh Yadav was exonerated of the doping chargesyesterday by the National Anti-Doping Agency. Expressing his thanks to all his supporters, Narsingh also thanked the PM and is learned to be scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi today.

Narsingh Yadav's two-week long misery came to an end yesterday when he was cleared by the NADA of all the charges against him.

"There is no fault or negligence on his part and he is a victim of sabotage by a competitor.... The panel exonerates the athlete from charges of violating anti-doping rules," Nada chief Navin Agarwal announced.

Narsingh, however, wanted justice to go the full length and catch the perpetrators who put him through the worst phase in his career.

Right from the first day, I have had faith that I would be cleared. I have always competed in a fair and honest manner.

"But I hope that this matter doesn't relegated to police files only. The real culprit, who has been behind this whole doping mess, should be brought to book. Let me make it clear that I am not pointing finger at any particular person. All I am saying is that the culprit should not go scot-free," the wrestler said.

"I am happy to come out of it. It has been a very tough time. I thank everyone for the support. I am happy that justice has prevailed," Narsingh said later. "I have been practising hard and will try to win a medal in Olympics to repay the love of people who supported me in these testing times,” he added.

The wrestler is scheduled to meet PM Narendra Modi today to thank him for standing by him in the ordeal and ensuring swift resolution of the matter. "I am grateful to Narendra Modi for helping me get justice. I was always hopeful of getting justice and that is why I continued to train hard. I want to go to Rio and win a medal. I want to thank the public and media and everyone else who supported me and stood by the truth he told the media after the NADA ruling,” said Narsingh.
