Manchester United and Spain goalkeeper David de Gea has reportedly been implicated in a police investigation of a porn director accused of running a child prostitution ring. De Gea’s former Spanish U-21 teammate Iker Muniain has also been named in the testimony by a protected witness in the case.

According to Spanish newspaper El Diario, the victim alleged that the she was sexually abused by two footballers in a hotel in Madrid in 2012. Although De Gea is not one of those two players, he is accused of being involved in arranging the meeting. Athletic Bilbao player Iker Muniain has also been implicated in the case, which is investigating well-known X-rated film entrepreneur Ignacio Allende Fernandez, who was arrested in April for allegedly running a child prostitution ring.

De Gea is currently in France with the Spanish national football team for the European championship. There has been no comment from the Spanish camp yet.
