After mercilessly beating Pakistan by a huge margin of 16 points, an upbeat Indian side will look forward to keeping their winning momentum alive in the second match against Kenya at the Al Wasl Sports Club in Dubai. The match will start at 9.30 IST after the match between Iran and Argentina.

Although the star-studded Indian team looked rusty, skipper Ajay Thakur was at his boisterous best and did a commendable job to score 10 points of his own, and that was enough to get the better of Pakistan. However, India’s concern would be Rahul Chaudhari, who looked out of sorts and Pardeep Narwal was nowhere close to his best in the first match, which may tempt the team management to start with the talented Rohit Kumar and Monu Goyat, who recently became the most valuable player in the recently-concluded PKL auction.

While the duo of Surjeet Singh and Surender Nada were brilliant for the Indian team as far as defense is concerned, Mohit Chhillar was a disappointing starter for Team India as he could score none more than one point and can lose his spot to for Sandeep Narwal or veteran Manjeet Chhillar, who surprisingly sat out in the first game.

Although the match is expected to be a one-sided affair, India can’t take Kenya lightly as the team has the players of the likes of David Mosambayi, who scored 46 points from five matches for Haryana Steelers in the last edition of the PKL. Kenya also has good defenders in the form of James Odhiambo and Odhiambo Ogak, who may unsettle Team India in the game.
