Eventus International & Probability Gaming: A force for good
Eventus International and Probability Gaming have not only joined forces to promote each other in business, but they will also be working together to reach out to the community of Goa. Both teams will begin the week with the first-ever Sports Betting & Gaming India Summit will be held this week.
This visit is part of Eventus International’s social development initiative that began in South Africa before Christmas last year, where the Eventus International team delivered Christmas presents to the children of the Venzani Children's Home. The initiative seeks to reach out and bring some much-needed relief to underprivileged communities in the countries where Eventus International host their events.
Sister Valentina Mascarenhas, who has been a missionary for 38 years, took her leave from the duties of the Francescan Missionaries of Mary to provide a home for the orphans of Goa at Valentina’s Little Heaven in Vanelim. She is best described as a selfless person with a generous soul and a golden heart. The home is a haven for over 80 children, and each child is treated as if they were Sister Valentina’s very own.
In a first of its kind event, the Sports Betting & Gaming India Summit (SGBI), scheduled to take place on the 27th & 28th February 2018 in Goa, aims to bring together all of the key stakeholders, instrumental to the debate about the future of betting and gambling in India.
With an agenda designed to shine a spotlight on the current situation and consider the case for legalisation and regulation, taking in commercial opportunities, responsible gambling and consumer protection and legislation and regulation as a vehicle for ensuring betting integrity - this event aims to provide a platform for frank and open discussion and debate on the future of betting, gaming and gambling in India.
