Indian squasher Vikram Malhotra annexed his 11th PSA title after winning the $ 12000 Life Time Betty Griffin memorial squash tournament in Florida, a PSA challenger event late on Sunday. The top-seeded Indian beat the sixth seeded Jesus Camacho of Mexico in the final 11-6, 11-6, 11-4.

It was glory for India in Florida on Sunday as Vikram Malhotra, who is the 58th ranked squasher in the world, won the 11th PSA title of his career by beating Jesus Camacho of Mexico 11-6, 11-6, 11-4 in the final. Malhotra, who was the top seed in the tournament, dispatched his sixth-seeded opponent with ease, not having to break a sweat.

Interestingly it was here in Florida that Vikram had won his first PSA title back in 2015. With his latest success, Vikram has also the highest number of PSA titles for an Indian male player. Ncidentally both Joshna Chinappa and Dipika Pallikal Karthik have 11 titles each in the women's category.

The Indian had a comfortable start in getting past Anthony Rogal of England in the first round, then struggled a little against Leandro Romiglio of Argentina next in the quarters before winning in four games. Third seed Mazen Gamal of Egypt did not prove a push over in the semi-final, with the 84 minute match ending 11-9, 12-14, 11-3, 11-9 in Vikram's favour.
