Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic continued their fantastic form and both reached the fourth round at Wimbledon in straight sets. Sania Mirza and her partner Ivan Dodig moved to the third round of the mixed doubles as Rohan Bopanna and his partner Gabriela Dabrowski also register a win.
Third seed Federer made it into the fourth round for the 15th time with a 7-6 (7-3) 6-4 6-4 win over German 27th seed Mischa Zverev on Centre Court.
"I'm very happy now to sit back, relax a day and come back strong, hopefully, on Monday", said Federer as reported by AFP.
"Every time I play against him he's stronger than the time before.I'm ready for a tough one but sure again, another exciting match because he's a great shotmaker," the 35-year-old added.
In next round, Federer will play against Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov.
Federer was joined by second seeded Djokovic, who thrashed Latvia's Ernests Gulbis 6-4 6-1 7-6 (7-2).
After this win, Serbia’s 30-year-old player said, I'm delighted with the performance. I thought I raised the level of tennis."
Djokovic will face Adrian Mannarino in the last 16 on Monday.
In another match, Canadian sixth seed Milos Raonic, thrashed Spain's 25th seed Albert Ramos-Vinolas 7-6 (7/3), 6-4, 7-5 to book a fourth round spot against Alexander Zverev.
Grigor Dimitrov easily entered in the next round after his opponent Sela, who was struggling with injury, was forced to pull out at 6-1, 6-1.
Austrian eighth seeded Dominic Thiem beat Jared Donaldson of the United States in straight sets 7-5, 6-4, 6-2.
In the women’s draw, German player Angelique Kerber must be relieved after beating US player Shelby Rogers in an intense match 4-6, 7-6 (7/2), 6-4.
"It was for sure a really important win for me, especially because it was a really up-and-down match," the 29-year-old said.
In Monday’s fourth round she will play against Garbine Muguruza.
The Indo-Canadian combination of Rohan Bopanna and Gabriela Dabrowski beat French-Romanian pair Fabrice Martin and Raluca Olaru 7-6 (2), 7-5 in the second round of mixed doubles.
They were joined by the Indo-Japanese pair of Purav Raja and Eri Hozumi, who made heavy weather of James Cerretani (USA) and Renata Voracova (Czech Republic), before beating them 5-7, 6-4, 6-2.
Earlier in the day, Sania Mirza and her Belgian partner Kirsten Flipkens defeated the British pair of Naomi Broady and Heather Watson to register a 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 victory.
In the next round, the 13th seeded pair will face Martina Hingis of Switzerland and Yung-Jan Chan of Chinese Taipei.
