Selector's meeting for England series delayed in Mumbai
The selectors' meeting today to decide the Indian ODI and T20I squad for the England series has been delayed due to logistical reasons. Some report suggest that the BCCI did not have the necessary provisions to conduct the meeting in the light of the SC removing the BCCI President and Secretary.
The reports, primarily from CNN news18, suggested that due to the ruling of the Supreme Court to sack president Anurag Thakur and secretary Ajay Shirke from the BCCI had left the cricket board in a position where they were unable to decide on a team for the upcoming series.

Update: However, a source close to the BCCI told SportsCafe that the meeting was only delayed because one of the attendees was unable to reach the destination on time. As of 2:30 PM, the meeting has started.
