Former Hyderabad captain and BCCI general manager MV Sridhar passes away
Former Hyderabad captain and GM of Cricket Operations at BCCI, MV Sridhar, has passed away at the age of 51 due to cardiac arrest. Sridhar was wonderful first class playing career and played an active role in Indian cricket administration, but later resigned due to a conflict.
Sridhar was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital, owing to a cardiac arrest. Sridhar, who represented Hyderabad between the 1988-89 and 1999-00 seasons, accumulated 6701 runs at an average of 48.91 with 21 hundreds and was well-known for scoring a monumental triple century (366) in an innings against Andhra during the 1993-94 season.
