Rahul Dravid becomes fifth Indian to be inducted in ICC Hall of fame
Rahul Dravid has recently become the fifth Indian cricketer to be inducted in the ICC Hall of Fame on Sunday. Apart from the former India No.3, Bishan Singh Bedi, Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, and Anil Kumble formed the prestigious group which now includes Dravid as the fifth member from the country.
Former Indian skipper and current India U-19 coach, Rahul Dravid was bestowed with the honour of being inducted in the ICC Hall of Fame. Before this induction, only four Indian players - Bishan Singh Bedi, Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev and Anil Kumble - had the privilege of boasting themselves on the prestigious list.
Dravid had an exhibiting career as a batsman and was a terrific run-scoring weapon for India. With 13,288 runs, he occupies the fourth rank in the accomplished Test run-scorers and his tenure as the Indian skipper was spectacular where he led India to overseas Test series
