There have been a few instances in cricket where a batter didn’t walk off and stared at the umpire even after getting out. David Warner replicated the incident in IPL against Rajasthan Royals as he tried to fool the umpire by staring at him and not walking off even after edging a delivery.

Delhi Capitals have won three games in IPL 2022 but their performance against Rajasthan Royals hasn’t been good so far. Bowling first, they conceded 222/2 courtesy of a Jos Buttler special as he scored 116 runs from 65 balls. Chasing the mammoth total DC lost their first wicket on a total of 43 in form of David Warner.

David Warner has been in form this season but he was dismissed on a score of 28 runs. Prasidh Krishna was bowling the fifth over of the innings and Warner tried to make a room shuffling outside leg on the third delivery. Krishna followed him and Warner edged the ball to the Wicketkeeper. Surprisingly, Warner stared down at the umpire and pretended as if he hasn’t nicked it.

Here is how Twitter reacted to the incident.
