The cricket fans are waiting for the 2027 World Cup to take place. And finally, the dates from which the tournament will be taking place have been revealed. The tournament is likely to start from 4 October and the finals will take place on 21 November.

It has been more than 2 years since the last World Cup and now we are less than a few months away from the upcoming edition. The 2027 ODI World Cup has kept the cricket fans excited, as they await to see which team gets to lift the title. While Australia will enter as the defending champions, India will be coming with some unfinished business.

With the tournament taking place next year, the schedule of the same will soon be announced. The tournament will commence from 4 October and will come to an end on 21 November. The dates are yet to be confirmed, as it will be finalised when the ICC releases the tournament schedule. But these are the tentative dates in which the tournament is set to take place.

Moreover, some details regarding the venues and host countries have also been revealed. This World Cup will be hosted by South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe. Out of all the games, South Africa is likely to host at least 41 games. On the other hand, Zimbabwe will be hosting 8 to 10 games while Namibia gets to host 3 matches.

The cricket fans are now getting the ODI World Cup vibe, as the biggest tournament of all-time is back. The Indian fans do have high hopes from the team, as they would want to see Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli lift the World Cup together before they retire. Now fans will be waiting for the schedule of the tournament to be announced, but that will happen next year.
