Glenn Maxwell has revealed that he was disappointed with not playing in the recently held two-match Test series against Sri Lanka. He further revealed that he prepared hard for his return to Test cricket and loved the thought of playing again but missed out on both the Tests for the touring side.

David Warner has revealed that the extremely turning pitches used in the Sri Lanka ODI series are helping Australia to prepare for the upcoming Test series. Sri Lanka have taken an unbeatable 3-1 lead in the ODI series and both teams will play two Tests after the conclusion of the fifth ODI.

Sri Lanka cricket have named Lasith Malinga as Sri Lanka’s bowling strategy coach for the upcoming white-ball series against Australia. Malinga will help the national side with his technical expertise and technical insight as the series will kick off on June 7 with first T20I in Colombo.

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) have announced their squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Australia and have handed a maiden international call-up to Matheesha Pathirana and Nuwanidu Fernando. Kasun Rajitha and Lakshan Sandakan have also returned to the squad for the T20I series.
