Time waits for nobody, and with less than eight days left for the Premier League’s transfer window to slam shut, the drama has picked up. The other four leagues, on the other hand, time to spare but with less than a month left, it’s time to start panicking and dig into a few juicy sagas.

Manchester United turn towards Samuel Umtiti

It may finally be over, not the summer transfer window but Manchester United’s chase for Harry Maguire. The Foxes have stonewalled the Red Devils every chance they’ve got and are refusing to budge on an obscene valuation for the English center-back.

But finally Ole has realized that there are other fishes in the sea and one such fish is Samuel Umtiti. Le 10 Sport has reported that the Red Devils are genuinely looking at the 2018 World Cup winner with his 45 million fee far less than what Leicester City want.

AS Roma still want to sign Toby Alderweireld

His release clause may have expired a few days ago but that hasn’t stopped AS Roma from desperately wanting Toby Alderweireld. The Giallorossi were heavily linked with a move for the Belgian but nothing ever happened and now with Daniel Levy increasing his fee to £40 million, Roma might just make the move.

They’re also ready to offer him a £3.2 million yearly contract as they look to fill a certain Greek God’s role.

Monaco and Galatasaray negotiating a fee for Radamel Falcao

A long and industrious career, that could have been so much more for Radamel Falcao may finally be over with a move to Galatasaray incoming. The Turkish giants are in pole position to land the 33-year-old striker with AS Monaco looking to move on their aging core. They’ve already landed a potential replacement in Andre Silva, although that deal still needs to be hammered out by AC Milan and Monaco.

Joshua Kimmich doubts Bayern’s move for Leroy Sane

With Leroy Sane’s future still in flux, Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich doesn’t believe that Bayern Munich are even interested in making a move for the Manchester City star.  Speculation over the former Schalke star has hit the top corner, with Bayern boss Niko Kovac going on to reveal that a potential deal is very close.

Kimmich on the other hand “If Leroy wanted to, he would probably already be here, so I do not know what the state of affairs is." Trying to appease Pep Guardiola or the truth?

Barcelona hoping for a late-minute bid for Philippe Coutinho

Barcelona’s top priority this summer is to sell Philippe Coutinho but like Gareth Bale, Coutinho has no bidders after his signature. Oh, how the mighty falls, as barely 18 months into his dream move and the La Liga giants want to sell Coutinho to fund a “potential” move for Neymar.

Their main concern is that the Premier League window shuts soon and there has been no interest from England. Few others can afford the rather expensive playmaker, with the biggest sides from all but Ligue 1, not interested in a move. PSG are their best chance to offload the Brazilian, but the relationship between the two giants have deteriorated past the point of repair.
