Tottenham are unconvinced with Mauricio Pochettino’s ability to turn things around and have shortlisted three potential replacements for the Argentine. Nothing has gone right for Pochettino and Spurs this season as the club sitting in 14th place after twelve games having won just three matches.

After a miserable start to their season, the Telegraph has reported that Mauricio Pochettino has held talks with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy over his future at the club. Nothing has gone right for the Argentine this season and the reports have indicated that the Spurs boss is heading towards a point of no return with Tottenham and that Spurs are considering paying Pochettino to leave.

That does cause a few problems for them but the Daily Mail has reported that the North Londoners have shortlisted three potential replacements for the Argentine. The list includes Bournemouth’s Eddie Howe, RB Leipzig’s Julian Naglesmann, and Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti. However, the report further indicated that Naglesmann and Ancelotti are the top candidates with Howe being the third option on the list.

But given that the RB Leipzig boss only signed for them at the start of this season, it makes a move very tough. This comes despite the fact that Pochettino has asked the club to keep their faith in him and give him time to make a genuine difference at the club. However, the Telegraph further reported that Tottenham’s hierarchy doesn’t believe that the Argentine can turn things around right now with his next game potentially his last one.
