Tottenham to sign Georginio Wijnaldum

According to The Daily Mail, Tottenham are considering making a bid for Georginio Wijnaldum as they aim to bolster their midfield after potentially letting go of Tanguy Ndombele. The former Liverpool midfielder is understood to be unhappy about his situation at the French capital and is looking to make a way back to the familiarity of the Premier League.

Roma are in talks to sign the Frenchman from the London club paving the way for Wijnaldum to seal a move to Spurs. The North London club and the French giants are in talks to faciliate a move away for the Dutch midfielder.


Aston Villa to sign Rodrigo Bentancur 

According to Sky Sports, Aston Villa are set to make a move for Juventus midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur as they aim to bolster their midfield options. Steven Gerrard is a big admirer of the Uruguayan and are set to make a move. The English club haven't made an official move yet but they are evaluating their options before making a formal offer.

It is understood that the Serie A side is not interested in a transfer in the middle of the season as they aim to finish the season strongly. They could be tempted by an offer in the summer if the English side are willing to do a deal at the end of the season.


Juventus enter race to sign Dusan Vlahovic

Juventus have entered the race to sign Fiorentina Dusan Vlahovic as they compete with Arsenal to secure the striker's signature accoding to The Times. Vlahovic has been accused of ignoring the club's calls by Fiorentina chief executive Joe Barone following the Gunners' reported bid for the Serie A forward.

The Serbian has outlined his intentions of leaving the Italian club for greener pastures and would prefer a move to Turin over London. Juventus will make an offer to their Serie A rivals before the transfer window closes shut at the end of the month.


Brentford to sign Christian Eriksen

Brentford are close to finalising terms on a six-month contract with Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen according to reports from Sky Sports. The Bees are prepared to recruit the Danish international despite his health concerns after they studied the possbilities and reprecussions of his signing.

The Danish midfielder is keen on a move back to the Premier League and would welcome a move to Brentford as he wishes to represent his homeland in the upcoming 2022 World Cup. 


Liverpool set to make move for Eduardo Camavinga

Liverpool are monitoring the situation of Eduardo Camavinga at Real Madrid and are prepared to make an offer for the French international according to El Nacional. The Reds were interested in signing the French midfielder prior to his move to the Spanish giants but didn't have the financial prowess to faciliate a move.

The 19-year-old has made a tough start to life at Spain and could be persuaded to move to Liverpool where he would be assured of a starting spot in the lineup.

The Reds are preparing an offer which will see a move materialize in the summer as they aim to bolster their midfield options ahead of the next campaign. Real Madrid are not interested in a possible Camavinga departure although they will consider a serious offer for the Frenchman.


Newcastle to make offer for Jesse Lingard

Newcastle United are preparing an offer that will see Manchester United attacker Jesse Lingard arrive at the Tyneside club on loan for the rest of the season according to Manchester Evening News. The Magpies are willing to cover the 29-year-old's ÂŁ100,000 per week wages until the end of the season, with no buy option included in any final agreement.

The Englishman's current deal at Old Trafford expires at the end of the summer and it is likely that Lingard will move on to greener pastures in the summer. United will likely accept any incoming offer from Newcastle if they also receive a loan fee for the attacker.


Derby County confirm that Chelsea have signed young left-back Dylan Williams

In a statement, Derby County have confirmed the news that Dylan Williams has signed for Chelsea for an undisclosed fee this month and becomes the Blues' first new signing in January. The Stamford Bridge side were heavily linked with a move for Williams although the 18-year-old has had other suitors over the last few weeks as well.

"Dylan Williams has today left Derby County to sign for Premier League club Chelsea. The second-year scholar, who turned 18 in December, has joined the reigning UEFA Champions League holders after an undisclosed agreement was reached by the two clubs. Williams, at the age of just 16, was the youngest player to start in the Rams’ Emirates FA Cup Third Round tie at Chorley just over a year ago on what was his professional debut," reads the statement.


Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang looking to stay in Europe amidst interest from Saudi Arabia

According to the Athletic, Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang wants to remain in Europe if he is to leave the North Londoners despite serious interest from several teams within the Middle East. The Gabon international has been out of favour after being dropped by Mikel Arteta and has been linked with a move away.

However, while reports have indicated that the 31-year-old could leave Arsenal this month, the Athletic have revealed that any move for the forward will have to come from within Europe or else Aubameyang won't accept the offer.


Thomas Frank and assistant head coach Brian Riemer sign new contracts with Brentford

In a statement, Brentford have confirmed that both head coach Thomas Frank and assistant head coach Brian Riemer have extended their contracts until the end of the 2024/25 season following an impressive start to the Premier League campaign. The Bees have struggled recently for form but are still eight points above the relegation places.

"Brentford FC Head Coach Thomas Frank and Assistant Head Coach Brian Riemer have both signed new long-term contracts. The pair signed their new deals at the end of last week, committing their futures to the Club. They are now under contract until the end of the 2024/25 season," reads the statement.


West Ham eyeing a move for Fiorentina goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski

According to Viola News, West Ham are looking into a potential move for Bartlomiej Dragowski with them keen on signing a new goalkeeper this month. The 24-year-old has been relegated to a back-up role for Fiorentina this term and is reportedly considering a January move away.

The Hammers, on the other hand, did sign Alphonse Areola on loan in the summer but are looking at their future especially with Lukasz Fabianski now 36 years old and believe that Dragowski would be a good replacement. The Hammers are looking to add another striker to their roster and believe that the 20-year-old is their man.

However, Southampton are also keen on signing Broja permanently and are reportedly in talks with Chelsea to get a deal done either now or at the end of his season long loan spell. But Football Insider has further reported that the Hammers are confident of getting a deal done this month with them looking at a loan with an option to buy.

According to reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham are looking to sign Wolves winger Adama Traore as they look to seal a deal for the Spanish winger this month. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Ajax left-back Nicolas Tagliafico is pushing for a move to Barcelona amidst rumours of him potentially leaving the club this month. The 28-year-old has less than six months left on his current contract and has been linked with a move away.

But amidst interest from Chelsea and a few other sides, Romano has reported that Tagliafico has told Ajax that he wants to sign for Barcelona and hopes the club will let him leave.


Manchester United have sent scouts to watch Luiz Diaz

News outlet O Jogo have reported that Manchester United have sent scouts to watch Porto winger Luiz Diaz with the Red Devils reportedly keen on making a move for the 25-year-old. The forward has been linked with a move to Newcastle United this month but nothing has materialized so far.

O Jogo have further reported that United's scouts weren't the only present as Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund had also sent scouts to watch Diaz play in Porto's 3-1 win over Famaliaco.


Arsenal confident of getting a cut-price deal for Alexander Isak

According to the Athletic, Arsenal are confident that they can convince Real Sociedad to sell forward Alexander Isak this month and for a fee well below his £76 million release clause. The 22-year-old is considered to be one of the bright young forwards in world forward and has done well during his time with the La Liga side.

Not only that, the Gunners have been heavily linked with a move for a forward this month and the Athletic has reported that Isak is their top alternative to Dusan Vlahovic.


Barcelona confident of battling Arsenal and Real Madrid for Youri Tielemans

With just eighteen months left on his current deal, Youri Tielemans has been heavily linked with a move away and could move to the Camp Nou as Fichajes has reported that Barcelona have joined the race for the midfielder. The 25-year-old has yet to sign a new deal with Leicester City and the Foxes are considering offloading him.

The Belgian is being monitored by several clubs but the La Liga giants believe that they are the front-runners in the race and are more than willing to fight off interest from Arsenal, Real Madrid and a few other sides. Fichajes has further reported that any move will cost around €40 million if Leicester offload him next summer.


Liverpool and Manchester City are in talks with PSV Eindhoven over a move for Cody Gakpo

According to Voetbal International, both Liverpool and Manchester City have held talks with PSV Eindhoven over a potential move for young forward Cody Gakpo. The 22-year-old has been in sizzling form this season, scoring 6 goals and 10 assists in just 15 Eredivisie appearances which has seen him light up a few radars.

However, Bayern Munich have also shown an interest in Gakpo but the Bavarians will face stiff competition from the two Premier League sides. Not only that, the 22-year-old has confirmed that he will extend his contract with the Dutch side, which will give PSV the upper hand when it comes to negotiations.
