I-League 2015/16: Bengaluru cut Bagan’s lead at top with easy win over Shillong
Goals from forwards Udanta Singh and Kim Song-Yong helped 2013/14 champions Bengaluru FC defeat Shillong Lajong 2-0 in Shillong on Wednesday to get to within one point of league leaders Mohun Bagan. In the other match of the day, Mumbai and Aizawl played out an entertaining 2-2 draw.

A 48th-minute header from winger CK Vineeth was the difference between the two teams as Bengaluru FC defeated Aizawl FC 1-0 at the Kanteerava stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday. With the win, the home side moved into the second position in the table, cutting down Mohun Bagan’s lead to three points.
