Weighing at 114 kgs and boasting a personal best of 210 kgs on a bench press, there is little doubt that John Cena could hit the ball out of any ground. However, the WWE champion struggled with the bat in the nets in Australia before Sydney Thunder's captain Shane Watson gave him some tips.
The Sydney Thunder's camp got a visit from popular WWE star John Cena before they kick off their Big Bash season against Melbourne Renegades next week. The WWE World Champion, who is currently in Australia to promote his film āFerdinandā, decided to try his hands at cricket much to the surprise of the onlookers.
Holding the bat high like that of a baseball player, Cena missed some and got his bat on a few deliveries before Shane Watson went up to give him some tips on batting.Ā

The seventh season of Big Bash League starts on December 9 with the first match between Sydney and Melbourne being played at North Sydney Oval stadium, where Watson will lead the side once again.Ā
