Records and numbers tumble as England annihilate Pakistan in 3rd ODI

England's victory against Pakistan in the 3rd ODI not only gave them the series but they also broke several national and world records. Pakistan too were in the fray with one record from Amir which they can be proud of.

1 - The 248 run partnership between Alex Hales and Joe Root is the first double hundred partnership in an ODI match between ENG & PAK.

2 - Jos Buttler became the second England wicketkeeper after Alec Stewart to complete 2000 runs in ODIs. 

3 - Alex Hales became the third batsman after Virat Kohli and Brian Lara to score more than 150 runs in ODIs against Pakistan.

6 - Joe Root became the sixth batsman to score 5 consecutive 50+ scores for England in ODIs.

16 - England's innings consisted of 16 sixes which is the record for most number of sixes by England in ODIs.

20 - Alex Hales hit 20 boundaries against Pakistan which highest for an England batsman in an ODI innings.

22 - Jos Buttler scored the fastest 50 in ODIS for England in 22 balls.

58 - Mohammed Amir's score of 58 yesterday is the highest by a Number 11 Batsman in ODIs.

110 - Wahab Riaz's 10 overs went for 110 runs which is the second most by a bowler in ODIs.

171 - 171 by Alex Hales is the highest ODI score by an England Batsman.

248 - The partnership between Hales and Root, which yielded 248 runs, is the highest in Trent Bridge.

444 - England created world record by posting 444 runs in 50 overs, which is the highest total in ODIs. 

England became the joint quickest to reach 400 in 46.1 overs.

England is the only team to score 111,222,333,444 in ODIs.
