Karnataka Premier League 2018 has been an unfortunate season for the Bijapur Bulls as they lost their first game while the next two were washed out. However, the Bulls will now look forward to continuing their good form, gained by the victory over Bellary Tuskers last game, against Mysuru Warriors.

Bijapur Bulls have had a rough start to their season, winning just one game after four matches. Ranked 5th on the points table, the Bulls will be looking forward to winning their second match on the trot, after a two-wicket victory over the Bellary Tuskers in their last game. On the other hand, the in-form Mysuru Warriors ranked 3rd in the points table after winning 3 matches so far will be eager to climb to the top of the table.

Players to watch out for:

While the Bulls will be depending on the services of their captain Bharat Chipli to score quick runs, they will be excited about the form of their middle-order batsman KN Bharath, who was the player of the match against Tuskers for his 46-ball 75. On the other hand, the bowling department seems strong for the Bulls with the likes of KP Appanna, Zahoor Farooqui, Naveen MG, and KC Cariappa. However, the team will rely more on the spin duo of Apanna and Cariappa given the wicket of Mysore is more helpful for the tweakers.

The Warriors will be expecting a lot from most of their players, especially their opening batsmen Arjun Hoysala and Raju Bhatkal. Their strong batting line-up will also rely on Shoaib Manager, who is amongst the top run-getters with 151 runs with a brilliant average of 75.50. Medium pacer Vyshak Vijay Kumar, who is the purple cap holder with 11 wickets at the moment, will hold the key in the bowling department along with the left-arm spinner Jagadeesha Suchith.

The pitch behaviour in Mysore:

After rain played spoilsport in almost all the games at Hubli, the Mysore weather has allowed the tournament to progress at the normal pace. In most of the seven matches played till now at the Srikantadatta Narasimha Raja Wadiyar Ground, the pitch has produced low-scoring matches with a few exceptions. The pitch has assisted the bowlers so far and this encounter will be expected to display the same.

Weather :

There is a prediction of scattered thunderstorms in Mysore tomorrow and both the skippers will keep the rain factor in mind. Duckworth-Lewis (DL) method might come into the picture in this encounter and both the sides will look forward to bowl first.

Predicted XIs:

Bijapur Bulls: Bharath Chipli (c), Shishir Bhavane, KL Shrijith (wk), Mir Kaunain Abbas, KN Bharath, Suneel Raju, Naveen MG, Ronit More, KC Cariappa, KP Apanna, Zahoor Farooqui.
