Mumbai Cricket Association officials to face-off against BCCI in High court
BCCI’s decision to move the fourth ODI between India and West Indies to Brabourne Stadium instead of Wankhede has not gone down well with MCA members, who have filed a writ petition against BCCI. MCA authorities are demanding a shift of venue to the Cricket Club Of India in the petition.
Last Friday, the BCCI authorities had made the call of shifting the October 29 India-Windies ODI game to shift from the Wankhede Stadium to the picturesque Brabourne Stadium. This came after the Mumbai Cricket Association cited financial constraints in playing host to the one-dayer.
In response to that, the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) had written to BCCI CEO, Rahul Johri, seeking an explanation as to why the fourth ODI was shifted out of Wankhede Stadium.
