Deaf T20 World Cup to be held in India from November 23
India will play host to the teams coming for the Deaf T20 World Cup which is scheduled from November 23. The tournament will stretch over eight days with countries like Australia, England, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and South Africa participating in it along with hosts India.
More than 200 players will be a part of this tournament. A total of eight teams will fight among themselves to win the trophy. Two groups will be formed and each team in a particular group will have to play three matches in the group stage. The top two performing teams from each group will enter the semifinal round.
Deaf Cricket Society (DCS) has taken the responsibility of hosting the tournament in India. The body works towards promotion and organisation of cricket matches for the deaf players of the country. It is affiliated to the Deaf International Cricket Council (Deaf ICC).
